I'm a manager at a local diner, and I'm having a little employee trouble. One girl is very hard working. She works up to 12 hours a day, and still manages to come in early and close late for others when they call in sick. This past week, she put in 50 hours in four and a half days! The customers all like her, and she never misses orders. She never complains or calls in sick. However, an employee who's worked with us for a year has some concerns that I'm finding hard to validate. She says the girl is rude, slow, and doesn't socialize. I've noticed this employee tends to give the hard worker a hard time, such as writing sloppy orders, or vague orders (ie, she'll write down breakfast. She doesn't write how the eggs are to be done, bacon or sausage, white or whole wheat toast...etc). I've also noticed that this employee has gone down hill. She'll sit in the diner, ordering others around while she takes long smoke breaks and does a crossword, all the while yelling in the back door at this hard worker that she's burning something. I've confronted her about this, as has the owner, but we think we have to replace the slacker. Why do you think she acts this way? Is she just immature? Should we replace the slacker and move on, or try talking to her again?

ive been working out about 4 months now and have lost about 70 lbs i started at 393 and im now down to 321. When i started i was doing about 3 miles a day on the treadmill or elliptical and about 45 min in the weight room but now im up too 4.0 to 4.5 miles a day and 30-45 min in the weight room just depending on how i feel. and im stuck at this weight and i want to get down around 230lbs can i get some help....i work 12 hour swing so its hard to stick to a diet cause my eating schedule changes every 2 weeks but i do eat very healthy lots of fruit veggies tuna and whole grains soy milk that kinda stuff. like today i had Breakfast: egg sandwich on whole wheat bread snack: banana nectorine lunch: thin whole wheat bagel laughing cow cheese wedge and a starkist tuna creations and some grapes afternoon snack was grapes and for dinner was the same thing i had for lunch and i drink about a gallon of water a day ....im just looking for some pointers so i dont get discouraged thanks!

I believe that he could possibly regain at least some credibility if he makes a robust stand against the heartless and greedy Tories. The fact is that without him they are sunk. He is in a very strong position to influence government strategies and lever in a far more humane approach to cutting out government waste and making savings that will be beneficial to the economy whilst still protecting the vulnerable members of our society rather than protecting billionaire bankers and tax exiles who got us into this mess in the first place.

for breakfast I had a banana , then I went tubing so while tubing I ate a little package of those healthy fruit snacks, a granola bar, and protein bar from tlc or kashi or something. Then once we were done tubing I ate a sandwich : wheat bread, 2 small slices of chicken, few pieces of lettuce, and on the side I had half a granola bar, half a kashi bar, 2 apple slices, and a lot of watermelon. Now it's dinner I just ate half a baked potato and now about to have macaroni and cheese. Too much?? And yes ice exercised for an hour today

How do I avoid exhaustion from physical activity?

So I go airsofting quite a bit (like once every week), and we are normally out there for about 4 hours. The temperature is normally in the high 70s low 80s, and we wear dark, camouflage. At about 2 hours in I get really exhausted, like I just want to fall over and take a nap. I get about 8 hours of sleep, Eat a good breakfast (Today consisting of 2 eggs, 2 pieces of wheat toast with margarine spread, a tall glass of milk, and a small bowl of Cheerios), and I drink a good size glass of water before we leave. However, I don't really get anything to drink while im there save for a few drinks of my friends canteens. Is this dehydration fatigue? Am I not getting enough sleep? Am I not eating enough calories?

Is voting No to AV to have a go at Nick Clegg, as silly as voting for him in the first place?

When the talk about AV was in its early stages, I must admit that I was one of the people that thought of voting NO just to spite Clegg and the Libdems. I have since taken more time to think about it as I can't stand Cameron either. I therefore looked at reasons for and against AV and came to the conclusion that it could actually be more unfair than the system we have. I can't for the life of me see why someones 2nd vote should be as important as their 1st vote, I also can't see why, why a group of voters who originally get the highest majority in the 1st round, could end up losing through other peoples 2nd votes and not even have their 2nd votes taken into consideration. The fact that I also believe that the NO vote will spell the end for Clegg and possibly the end of the coalition is a welcome by product of my choice, but is not the overwhelming reason I voted against it as there is also a chance that if the YES vote got through, then it might possibly spell the end for Cameron. So one way or another, Cameron or Clegg are going to hit the buffers and I'm not really bothered which one of these two faced, lying, deceitful pieces of s/hit gets it in the neck.

I'm 19, 5'5 and 125 pounds. my stomach has been consistently hard and bloated every day since i was in 6th grade. I'm toned everywhere except my lower stomach. i have abs on my upper abdomen, but as soon as you go below my belly button, there is a large "pudge" that protrudes. it is NOT fat. i have been to tons of doctors and had tons of tests done, all of which came back with no results. no hernias, cysts, celiac's disease, chrone's, ibs....anything you can think of...i dont have. ive also been on diet and exercise plans...all to no avail. 5'1" 105 lbs looking to lose 10lbs possible?

I have two months left of summer left and I would like to get down to 95 pounds. Trying to eat healthy...help?

I'm trying to lose weight, but I also exercise a lot, so I'm trying to eat at least 1,500 calories a day to lose about 1 pound a week, the healthy way. I always have a really hard time getting my calorie count up though, and when I do, I normally go over my daily carb and sugar limits. Is this okay, as long as I'm getting the calories I'm supposed to, or should I try to pick lower carb but high calorie foods? I eat healthy for the most part, like whole grain, whole wheat, low fat and stuff, it's just the I'm getting too many carbs and sugar. Does anyone have any advice on what to do, or what to eat? Just try to avoid the sugars and keep starches besides your bread to a minimum. Switch the potato's for green vegetables, switch from rice to sauted grated cauliflower and watch the sugar content of the packaged food you eat.

I was 17/18 years old and tried to commit suicide after a series of events happened that brought me to a low point in life (as well as the fact I was on medicine that made it 10x worse). I was twice court ordered to stay in a hospital for about 4-5 days. I got out and went off the medicine and did therapy instead, and got much better. I left for the Army as Airborne Infantry about 15 months later and lied in the application process since I knew I would not have a relapse. Well here I am 3 years later, about to get out next month and trying to figure out what I wanna do in life. I loved the military and did 2 deployments (one to A-stan...just got back 2 months ago, and another to Haiti last year after the earthquake). Both of them I came back fine from, yeah I saw some stuff in Astan that I don't like thinking about, but I don't have PTSD and have never felt a lapse in depression even under some of the stressful situations I've been in. So do you think if I applied to a police dept (or went and got my Bachelors and then applied to FBI) that they would see I was court ordered through a civil court to a hospital stay? That's a good diet, but your weight is normal for your height. Here's my diet- I eat cooked egg whites with bread and a little mayo. I can also add salt or pepper, or both, as much as my liking, just not too much! I eat like that for all meals, or just breakfast and dinner, until you lose enough weight as you want. It's actually really healthy, but I just remember to drink milk, orange juice,and take a multi-vitamin, so that way I don't miss out on all of the important nutrients that you need. Hope I helped.

On a typical day I have porridge made with unsweetened soya milk and a banana for breakfast. Then for lunch I will have either a chicken or ham roll/whole-wheat sandwich without any spread, or sometimes I will have 4 whole-wheat crackers with a low fat blue cheese dairylea square - either way I always have some watercress and 4 cherry tomatoes with it. Then for my main meal I have some kind of tomato or roasted pepper or soy based whole-wheat pasta meal with chicken or bacon and plenty of vegetables, before I have a bowl of strawberries or raspberries (or some pineapple on Sundays) and a Muller rice. During the day I drink water, and have at the most 3 glasses of sugar free squash at night. The only times I ever indulge are on a Friday when my sister makes a Victoria Sandwich cake and I have a slice usually with the soy based pasta which is mostly vegetables like celery, red pepper, peas, broccoli etc. and also onion. I also exercise for at least 40 minutes each day just walking out in the country and do 150 sit-ups every morning. So my question is really does this sound healthy? I'm trying to ensure I can maintain a healthy, stable weight after just recovering from an eating disorder. Many thanks for advice/comments.

I think people are underestimating the affect a NO vote would have on the Libdem's and especially Clegg. Hey guys! Alright, so I'm 12 yrs in seventh grade. I'm on the shorter side and I weigh around 76-78. I decided to start eating healthier. Today, for breakfast, I ate two pieces of whole grain white toast, for lunch: a salad with shredded cheese and Italian dressing with a few wheat thins, and for a snack an English muffin with peanut butter, and butter noodles for dinner. This, in my opinion is particularly healthy, I'm watching what I eat now and I think that's a good idea. I'm pretty active and I walk my dogs once around the block every night, I swim for about an hour on Thursdays, and I do figure skating practice for about an hour on Saturdays. So.. Am I healthy? Clegg wants AV because his party would be the only beneficiaries of it. Why am i not losing anymore weight?

ive been working out about 4 months now and have lost about 70 lbs i started at 393 and im now down to 321. When i started i was doing about 3 miles a day on the treadmill or elliptical and about 45 min in the weight room but now im up too 4.0 to 4.5 miles a day and 30-45 min in the weight room just depending on how i feel. and im stuck at this weight and i want to get down around 230lbs can i get some help....i work 12 hour swing so its hard to stick to a diet cause my eating schedule changes every 2 weeks but i do eat very healthy lots of fruit veggies tuna and whole grains soy milk that kinda stuff. like today i had Breakfast: egg sandwich on whole wheat bread snack: banana nectorine lunch: thin whole wheat bagel laughing cow cheese wedge and a starkist tuna creations and some grapes afternoon snack was grapes and for dinner was the same thing i had for lunch and i drink about a gallon of water a day ....im just looking for some pointers so i dont get discouraged thanks!

as long as you don't eat junk food or get fast food and work out at least 3-4 hours a day your on your way to weight lost.. don't drink to much water but at least a gallon and a half a day and start eating fruits and vegetables which keep the energy in your body to last longer !

my doc says I need to tell them what type of allergies I suspect because they can't test for every single allergy.
