Is there any hope for young talented people?

It's a dog-eat-dog world out there in terms of hiring, frank. You can't just expect them to give out jobs to every single, qualified young person. You just have to keep putting yourself out there, and maybe do some interning or other temporary work at places you want to be hired. Really, just anything that will help pad your resume.
