Has Clegg put the LibDems back 40 years by his weakness against Cameron?

I believe that he could possibly regain at least some credibility if he makes a robust stand against the heartless and greedy Tories. The fact is that without him they are sunk. He is in a very strong position to influence government strategies and lever in a far more humane approach to cutting out government waste and making savings that will be beneficial to the economy whilst still protecting the vulnerable members of our society rather than protecting billionaire bankers and tax exiles who got us into this mess in the first place.
