What happened to clegg saying he will not be cosying up to Cameron anymore?

Nick Clegg has basically said that he will start to put up more resistance to issues such as NHS reform and other things. However, he remains unified in the goal of cutting the deficit. If it reached the stage where the liberal democrats started to disagree with the conservatives on the cuts, that's when the coalition would be in real trouble.
